Hang Out with the Cool Kids (and Adults) in Poway
There is so much to do here in Poway. I call this the Cool Set of 4 fun things to do in Poway:
- Poway Skate Park. Skateboarding is not a Crime. I will often get a take-out lunch and park my car near the skate park and just watch them shred. Brings back great memories of my youth…. or a real-life version of the TV show Ridiculousness.
- Check out the Poway Cruisers Car Club. If you dig hot rods and just wanna talk cars, then be sure to put one of their car show events on your calendar. They bring the fun! Or just attend one of their monthly meetings at the Hamburger Factory here in Poway.
- Brunch at Maderas Golf Club. You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy the Maderas Golf Club. Besides being one of the top golf courses in San Diego County, they also have a great restaurant and bar that is open to the public. Maderas is a wonderful place for brunch especially on Mother’s Day or Easter. It’s a real treat. Are they still doing their Wednesday Hamburger Night specials? Great reviews at The Grille!
- Poway Farmers Market. Every Saturday morning at Old Poway Park is the Farmers Market where you can purchase a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables. Plus, there is a variety of other food options including tasty treats for the kiddos. Great place for just a morning stroll with a cup of coffee while you meet new friends.
